Tagging Content:

Tagging refers to the metadata that is assigned to a piece of content by the content creator and the readers/users of the content. Tagging content is the most common way in which to gather viewers of a page, a video or a picture. Many social media sites today allow contact to be tagged either through a hashtag system or an allocated box.

On WordPress there is an allocated tagging box for tags to my posts to be put on. For many of my posts, the ones that can be viewed I have tagged the content of each. Below are a couple of examples:

To tag a post on wordpress, once you’ve created the content which you like for your post, below categories is Tags which has a search box which you can add tags as seen in both screenshots. You type in related tags to your post and press add, the tags will appear below the search box as seen above and below.
